As CEO, Tindaro is responsible for planning and implementing the strategic direction of 7orca. In addition, he heads the Client Office, where all relationship-related activities are bundled. The graduate in business administration with a focus on quantitative methods has over 20 years of experience in quantitative asset management. Before founding 7orca, he held management positions at HypoVereinsbank and Berenberg. At Berenberg, as Global Head of Asset Management, Tindaro was most recently responsible for the strategic realignment and successful establishment of the business area.

As Chief Investment Officer, Jasper is responsible for the development and implementation of the investment processes and has overall responsibility for performance and implementation. After graduating with a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance, he gained almost 20 years of experience in quantitative asset management, among others at HypoVereinsbank and HSBC. Most recently, he was head of department for overlay mandates and total return strategies at Berenberg.

As CCO and CRO, Thimo is responsible for Compliance, Risk and Legal. The fully qualified lawyer specialises in investment and supervisory law and looks back on more than 20 years of experience at German financial institutions. Prior to his appointment to the Board of Directors of 7orca, he was Head of Investment Operations at Berenberg Asset Management and responsible for the middle and back office, among other things. Thimo holds an MBA from Cardiff University.

Sven is responsible for the management and the establishment of customer relationships. He has more than 20 years of professional experience with strategic oversight of large corporate clients and institutional addresses. Sven worked for renowned financial institutions in Germany and abroad. He worked intensively with the founders of 7orca Asset Management AG in the field of quantitative risk management and investment solutions at Berenberg. He completed his studies in Germany and the USA with a diploma in business administration. 

As a product specialist, Luca Croner is the point of contact for external and internal clients for FX overlay services and is jointly responsible for operational mandate management. In addition, he coordinates tasks between sales, portfolio management and quantitative research for client projects and is responsible for the content of all documents, such as presentations, fact sheets, generic RfPs and ad hoc reports. Most recently, he worked in trading at Warburg Privatbank, where he spent four years as FX & Rates Advisor. He holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business and has successfully completed the ACI Diploma.

As Head of Portfolio Management, Holger has the team responsibility for the overlay solutions as well as the volatility strategies of 7orca. He looks back on more than 17 years of professional experience in both currency management and quantitative asset management at German and international financial institutions. Before the foundation of 7orca, he was Head of Overlay at Berenberg. Holger holds a degree in economics and is a CFA charterholder.

Tom is responsible for the management of 7orca's volatility strategies and the development of risk premia concepts. He has more than 10 years of professional experience in quantitative asset management and has worked for Robeco, Metzler and Berenberg, among others. Previously, he managed option-based investment solutions at Berenberg as Head of Liquid Alternatives. Tom holds a Master in Finance (Financial Engineering, M.Sc.) from the University of Lausanne and is a CFA Charterholder.

As a Portfolio Manager, Johannes Heuel is jointly responsible for the development, implementation, and optimization of currency overlay investment processes. Previously, he worked as a research associate at the University of Hamburg, where he conducted research in finance as part of his doctoral studies. Johannes holds a master's degree in Quantitative Finance and a bachelor's degree in Economics.

As Senior Manager Trading & Implementation, Vlada is co-responsible for the development, implementation and performance of the currency overlay investment processes. He has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry. He gathered this knowledge in more than 11 years as an equity trader and most recently in more than 13 years at Berenberg as a portfolio manager in quantitative asset management. Vlada holds a degree in banking.

As Head of Exposure Management, André is responsible for the development, implementation, and daily execution of the 7orca Exposure Management process. He has more than 15 years of experience in various overlay management roles. Previously, he worked for HSBC and Berenberg. An economics graduate, he is a CFA and CAIA charterholder.

As a Data Analyst in Exposure Management, Ding is responsible for exploring and analyzing exposure data to uncover insights and build reports. He has over three years of experience in data analytics and reporting and holds a master’s degree in quantitative economics.

As Head of Research, Maximilian and his team are responsible for all analytical activities in Quantitative and Economic Research at 7orca. Maximilian has been working in analytical positions in the financial sector for more than 5 years and previously worked in Asset Management at Warburg Bank. He holds a Master in Quantitative Finance and a Bachelor in Economics.

As senior quantitative researcher, Moritz is responsible for the development of 7orca’s systematic investment strategies. He holds a master’s degree in finance and a bachelor’s degree in international business. Previously, he worked in the Derivatives Product R&D at Eurex, in Cross Asset Research at Commerzbank and in Private Banking at HSBC.

As Head of Compliance, Marco is responsible for the adherence to and implementation of the rules and regulations applicable to 7orca. He has more than 15 years of experience in the compliance environment of the financial industry. He has worked as (Deputy) Compliance and Money Laundering Officer at various institutions, including in Asset and Wealth Management.

Jochen is Head of Operations at 7orca, the first point of contact for all external service providers and responsible for liquidity planning as well as financial and balance sheet accounting. He has nearly 20 years of professional experience at renowned financial institutions. Previously, he was responsible for national and international business management at Berenberg. Jochen holds a degree in banking management (IHK) and has completed further training in banking management at the HfB Frankfurt.

As Investment Operations Manager, Matthias is responsible for the design and the control of the operational processes ensuring 7orca’s services. The business graduate looks back on more than 15 years of professional experience at recognised financial institutions and is an expert in performance and risk measurement. Previously, he was responsible for investment reporting at Berenberg.

Anna Rinke is responsible for the smooth running of 7orca's operational business processes in the Legal & Operations team and provides extensive administrative support to the department. She has been working as an assistant in the financial sector since 2018. Most recently, she worked for a renowned investment company and a major family office in London, UK.

Jana Selina Hauser is an HR & Operations Manager specialising in project management, personnel and recruiting as well as financial market-specific topics from the back office. Most recently, she completed her Master of Science at the Copenhagen Business School in Denmark and worked as a working student at a FinTech start-up.  

As Chief Technology Officer, Benjamin is responsible for the operation and further development of the internal and external IT infrastructure. He manages all external IT service providers.  He has more than 20 years of experience in the financial industry and has led the IT department at Berenberg Capital Markets LLC in New York, USA as Local Head of IT for the six years.

As Principal Data and Software Engineer Sebastian is responsible for the technical direction, architecture and development of all proprietary, in-house developed software solutions at 7orca. For more than 15 years Sebastian has been designing, developing and maintaining custom software solutions in finance. Before that, he worked for 12 years as a software and database developer at Berenberg, where he was entrusted with the development of an FX overlay portfolio management system, among other things.

Arne is a Senior Data Engineer responsible for building data pipelines as well as maintaining and administering databases at 7orca. He creates data analyses and supports portfolio management in the further development of proprietary trading applications. Arne, who holds a degree in financial and business mathematics, has more than 15 years of professional experience in the development, optimisation and automation of investment and risk management processes at renowned financial institutions. Previously, he worked in Quantitative Research at Berenberg.

As Data and Software Engineer, Weiling is responsible for optimising and developing the technical processes of 7orca’s proprietary applications as well as for database maintenance. With a degree in business mathematics, he is an expert in setting up and automating investment and risk management processes and has nearly 12 years of professional experience at renowned financial institutions. Previously, Weiling worked in the Data & Innovation Team at Berenberg.

As a Senior Data Engineer, Timo is responsible for building data pipelines and maintaining and administering databases. He creates data analyses and supports the portfolio management in the advancement of proprietary trading applications. With a degree in business informatics, he has more than 10 years of experience in the architecture and development of software solutions with a focus on data processing. Previously, Timo worked in IT systems management at Warburg. 

As Senior Data Engineer, Daniel manages the development of data pipelines as well as the maintenance and administration of databases. He creates data analyses and supports the portfolio managers in the ongoing enhancement of proprietary trading applications. With a degree in computer science, Daniel has been designing, developing and maintaining data processing solutions in the financial sector for more than 15 years. Previously, Daniel was an application and database developer at M.M.Warburg.

Peer is an marketing and PR expert with around 30 years of professional experience in the financial sector. He has been Senior Manager Marketing & PR since June 2024 and is responsible for brand positioning and public relations. Previously, he spent 25 years in the UniCredit Group, including as Vice President of Marketing (Wealthcap), Head of Marketing & PR and IT (Blue Capital) and Department Manager (Private Banking). Qualifications in the areas of events and data protection round off his profile.
