Tindaro Siragusano is co-founder of 7orca Asset Management and Chairman of the Management Board. In his role as Chief Executive Officer, he is responsible for the overall management of the company, the strategic development of its business models and the long-term positioning of 7orca within the institutional market environment. In addition, he heads the Client Office and oversees the firm-wide management of institutional client relationships.

He has more than 26 years of experience in institutional asset management. In previous senior roles at international financial institutions, he was responsible for the establishment, further development and governance of specialised asset management platforms as well as overseeing the firm-wide management of institutional client relationships. Most recently, he served as Global Head of Asset Management and was responsible for the strategic realignment and further development of the asset management division at an established German private bank.

Jasper Duex is co-founder of 7orca Asset Management and member of the Management Board. In his role as Chief Investment Officer, he is responsible for the development, implementation and performance of the firm’s investment and risk management strategies. His areas of responsibility include Portfolio Management, Exposure Management and Quantitative Research. In addition, he oversees the ongoing development of the investment processes.

He has more than 23 years of experience in institutional asset management, with a focus on overlay and liquid alternatives strategies. In previous senior investment roles at international financial institutions, he was responsible for the development, implementation and performance of investment and risk management strategies, as well as for leading portfolio management and quantitative research teams. Most recently, he served as Head of Overlay & Liquid Alternatives at an established German private bank.

Jasper Duex holds a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Thimo Koch is co-founder of 7orca Asset Management and member of the Management Board. In his role as Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Risk Officer, he is responsible for risk and compliance management as well as for legal affairs. In addition, he oversees investment operations across the entire investment lifecycle of institutional mandates.

He has more than 26 years of experience in the financial sector, with a focus on risk management, compliance and the legal aspects of regulated financial activities. In previous senior roles at international financial institutions, he was responsible for credit risk management, the establishment of legal structures in asset management and the strategic oversight of operational investment-related functions. Most recently, he served as Head of Investment Operations Department at an established German private bank.

Thimo Koch holds a Law degree and a Master’s degree in Financial Services.

Sven O. Müller is Head of Relationship Management at 7orca Asset Management. In this role, he is responsible for the development and maintenance of client relationships as well as for coordinating sales activities towards institutional investors and providers of institutional investment products.

He has more than 28 years of experience in the financial sector, with a focus on corporate and investment banking, relationship management and the strategic management of institutional client relationships. In previous senior positions at international financial institutions, he was responsible for establishing, developing and maintaining long-term client relationships. Most recently, he served as Managing Director and Head of Corporate Coverage at an established German private bank.

Sven O. Müller holds a degree in Business Administration.

Luca Croner is Senior Product Specialist at 7orca Asset Management. In this role, he acts as the central point of contact for currency overlay services. His focus is on the coverage and ongoing management of institutional mandates, as well as the coordination of collaboration across all relevant specialist teams. In addition, he is responsible for the content development of client- and sales-related materials.

He has more than 6 years of experience in the financial sector, with a focus on the structuring and implementation of institutional FX and interest rate solutions. In previous analytical and client-facing roles, he was responsible for the conceptualisation of client-specific solutions. Most recently, he served as Manager FX Sales & Trading at an established German private bank.

Luca Croner holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and an ACI Diploma.

Holger Bang is Head of Portfolio Management at 7orca Asset Management. In this role, he is responsible for the conceptualisation and implementation of currency overlay solutions as well as for the performance of these strategies. In addition, he is responsible for the firm’s volatility strategies and is a member of the Investment Committee.

He has more than 20 years of experience in the institutional financial markets, with a focus on the cross-asset conceptualisation and management of systematic overlay strategies across currencies, commodities, equities and fixed income. In previous senior roles at international financial institutions, he was responsible for the performance oversight of investment and risk management strategies, including the structuring of emerging markets currency overlay strategies and the structuring of interest rate solutions for corporate clients and institutional investors. Most recently, he served as Head of Overlay at an established German private bank.

Holger Bang holds a degree in Economics and is a CFA Charterholder.

Tom Pansegrau is Deputy Head of Portfolio Management at 7orca Asset Management. In this role, he is responsible for the firm’s volatility strategies. His focus is on the implementation, management and further development of derivative investment strategies, as well as on the performance of volatility strategies in retail funds and institutional mandates.

He has more than 15 years of experience in the financial sector, with a focus on quantitative investment strategies, volatility and risk overlay solutions, and derivative trading strategies. In previous senior investment roles as well as in quantitative research and risk management functions, he was responsible for the development, implementation and management of such strategies. Most recently, he served as Head of Liquid Alternatives at an established German private bank.

Johannes Heuel is a Portfolio Manager at 7orca Asset Management. In this role, he is jointly responsible for the development, implementation and optimisation of currency overlay investment processes. His focus is on the systematic advancement of quantitative models and processes.

He has more than 5 years of experience in financial economics research, with a focus on banking, asset pricing, and machine learning applications. Across international financial market environments and academic research, he contributed to the development and application of quantitative models, particularly in the context of financial economics and empirical methods. Most recently, he served as Research Associate at a German university.

Johannes Heuel holds a Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.

Vlada Mitrovic is Senior Manager Trading & Implementation at 7orca Asset Management. In this role, he is jointly responsible for the structuring, implementation and performance development of 7orca’s currency overlay investment processes. His focus is on the execution and further development of quantitative trading, investment and risk management strategies, as well as on the operational management of investment processes.

He has more than 30 years of experience in the financial sector, with a focus on equity trading, derivative strategies and quantitative asset management. In previous senior trading and portfolio management roles at international financial institutions, he was responsible for the implementation of quantitative strategies, the management of risk and investment processes, as well as the trading of equities and derivatives. Most recently, he served as Portfolio Manager in Overlay Management at an established German private bank.

Vlada Mitrovic holds an advanced professional qualification in banking management from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.

André Schneider is Head of Exposure Management at 7orca Asset Management. In this role, he is responsible for the conceptual development and structural design of the firm’s exposure management processes. His focus is on the analysis, quantification and management of currency risks within institutional mandates, as well as the development of consistent exposure methodologies.

He has more than 18 years of experience in the institutional overlay and capital markets environment, with a focus on FX, equity and fixed income strategies. In previous senior roles at international financial institutions, he was responsible for the servicing of institutional mandates, the analysis of complex risk exposures, and the further development and digitalisation of investment, risk and exposure processes. Most recently, he served as Consultant and Business Analyst for FX overlay strategies in an international financial market environment.

André Schneider holds a degree in Economics and is a CFA and CAIA Charterholder.

Ding Jin is a Data Analyst specialising in Exposure Management at 7orca Asset Management. In this role, he is responsible for the analysis and preparation of exposure-related information for institutional mandates. His focus is on the development of automated reporting and analysis processes for the structured representation of exposure and risk profiles.

He has around 10 years of experience in data analysis and reporting. Across data-driven corporate and financial environments, he was responsible for the automation of recurring evaluation processes, the development of reporting structures, and KPI-based performance analysis. Most recently, he served as Insight Analyst at an international provider of digital recruiting and job platforms.

Maximilian Kühl is Head of Research at 7orca Asset Management. In this role, he is responsible for the firm’s quantitative and economic research activities. His focus is on the further development of quantitative models, analyses and systematic investment processes.

He has more than 7 years of experience in the financial sector, with a focus on quantitative analysis and research. In previous senior roles, he was responsible for the development and structuring of quantitative models, the automation of processes and the preparation of analyses both in international financial market environments and at a recognised economic research institute. Most recently, he served as Risk Controller with a quantitative focus at an established German private bank.

Maximilian Kühl holds a Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.

Moritz Stephan is Senior Quantitative Researcher at 7orca Asset Management. In this role, he is responsible for the development of systematic investment strategies and quantitative models. 

He has more than 7 years of professional experience in international quantitative research and investment environments. In previous analytical roles, he was responsible for the cross-asset conceptualisation, analysis and implementation of systematic investment strategies. His areas of expertise include tactical asset allocation, backtesting of quantitative portfolio strategies, and application of advanced statistical and econometric methods. Most recently, he served as Analyst in Cross-Asset Strategy Research at an established international financial institution.

Moritz Stephan holds a Master’s degree in Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business.

Marco Santjer is Head of Compliance at 7orca Asset Management. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring adherence to the regulatory requirements applicable to the firm. His focus is on advising the Management Board and employees, defining and deriving internal guidelines, overseeing control activities, and managing regulatory reporting.

He has more than 20 years of experience in compliance across the banking and capital markets environment, with a focus on securities and banking regulation as well as anti-money laundering. In his previous roles as Compliance Officer and Anti-Money Laundering Officer at regulated capital market participants, as well as in trading compliance functions, he was entrusted with control and monitoring responsibilities. Most recently, he served as Compliance Officer and Anti-Money Laundering Officer at an international financial services provider.

Marco Santjer holds a Law degree and a degree in Business Administration.

Jochen Runze is Head of Operations at 7orca Asset Management. In this role, he is responsible for key operational management areas, in particular liquidity planning as well as financial and general ledger accounting. In addition, he shares responsibility for the oversight of risk controlling as well as anti-money laundering and fraud prevention. He also coordinates the cooperation with external service providers.

He has more than 20 years of professional experience in institutional banking and asset management. In previous senior roles at international financial institutions, he was responsible for operational control and business management tasks, financial accounting processes for institutional mandates and the coordination of external service providers. His area of responsibility encompassed the development of institutional service and management units and the structuring of the entire value chain for institutional mandates. Most recently, he served as Head of Business Management at an established German private bank.

Matthias Krüger is Senior Operations Manager at 7orca Asset Management. In this role, he is responsible for the conceptualisation, further development and management of key operational processes. His professional focus is on investment-related reporting as well as the performance and risk measurement of institutional mandates.

He has more than 20 years of professional experience in the institutional asset management environment. In previous senior roles at international financial institutions, he was responsible for the structuring and further development of reporting and evaluation processes, data management, performance and attribution analysis, as well as the benchmarking of FX overlay solutions. In addition, he was responsible for the implementation of international reporting and performance standards. Most recently, he served as Head of Investment Reporting at an established German private bank.

Matthias Krüger holds a degree in Business Administration.

Anna Rinke is Operations Manager at 7orca Asset Management. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing operational business processes within the Legal & Operations team. In addition, she shares responsibility for investment reporting, investor communication, as well as department and accounting management.

She has more than 7 years of professional experience in administrative and assistant-related roles within the financial sector. In previous positions, her responsibilities encompassed organisation, project and travel management, event and meeting coordination, client communication and accounting-related tasks. Most recently, she served as Executive Assistant for an established investment company and an international family office in London, United Kingdom.

Anna Rinke holds two Master's degrees, one in History and one in Museum Management.

Jana Selina Hauser is HR & Operations Manager at 7orca Asset Management. In this role, she is responsible for Human Resources and recruiting and supports the ongoing development of HR-related processes. In addition, she is involved in financial markets-related back-office activities, particularly in the areas of investment operations and settlement, and supports day-to-day operational processes.

She has more than four years of professional experience in HR and project-related roles. In previous positions, her responsibilities encompassed human resources management, project coordination, advisory-related activities and strategic initiatives. Her professional focus has been on the conceptual design and organisational structuring of processes. Most recently, she served as Junior Project Manager at an international fintech company in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Jana Selina Hauser holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Sociology.  

Benjamin Reimer is Chief Technology Officer at 7orca Asset Management. In this role, he is responsible for the operation, governance and strategic development of 7orca’s internal platforms and external IT infrastructure.

He has more than 22 years of experience in the financial sector. In previous senior roles at international financial institutions, he was entrusted with the conceptualisation and implementation of IT strategies, business analysis, as well as responsibilities related to trading- and capital markets-oriented processes. His professional focus is on IT and operations management in the context of institutional asset managers, including the management of complex IT projects and the integration and further development of trading-specific applications and systems. Most recently, he served as Local Head of IT at an established German private bank in New York, United States.

Benjamin Reimer holds a professional qualification in banking and additional qualifications in IT service management and securities trading.

Sebastian Röhr is Principal Data and Software Engineer at 7orca Asset Management. In this role, he is responsible for the technical direction, architecture and further development of the firm’s proprietary software solutions.

He has more than 16 years of professional experience in the development of data- and software-based systems within the institutional financial markets environment. In previous senior roles, he was responsible for the conceptualisation, implementation and operation of complex software and database solutions across asset and wealth management as well as trading-related environments. His professional focus has been on the analysis and structured further development of FX overlay applications. Most recently, he served as Senior Fullstack Developer in software and data infrastructure at an established German private bank.

Arne Decknatel is Senior Data and Software Engineer at 7orca Asset Management. In this role, he is responsible for the development and further advancement of data-driven software and analytics infrastructures. His professional focus is on the development of data pipelines, the administration of database systems, as well as the operation and further development of proprietary trading applications within portfolio management.

He has more than 17 years of professional experience in the financial sector. In previous positions at international financial institutions, he was responsible for the development and automation of quantitative investment and risk management processes as well as for the implementation of data- and software-based solutions within institutional asset management. Most recently, he served as Senior Quantitative Researcher at an established German private bank.

Daniel Winkler is Senior Data and Software Engineer at 7orca Asset Management. In this role, he is responsible for the conceptualisation and ongoing development of data pipelines, as well as the administration and structurally expanding of the underlying central infrastructure components.

He has more than 19 years of professional experience in the financial services and technology sectors. In previous positions at European financial institutions, he was responsible for the conception, development and operation of complex data processing, database and analytics platforms, as well as for the implementation of data-driven solutions in an institutional capital markets environment. Most recently, he served as Application and Database Developer at an established German private bank.

Peer Sauer is Senior Manager, Marketing & PR at 7orca Asset Management. In this role, he is responsible for the strategic and operational direction of the marketing and communications function.

He has more than 27 years of professional experience in the financial sector. In previous senior roles within the asset management divisions of international financial institutions, he was responsible for brand positioning as well as marketing and communications strategies. His responsibilities also encompassed media relations and public communications. In addition, he managed complex project and event formats and held the role of the company’s data protection officer, with responsibility for data protection-related governance and control processes. Most recently, he served as Vice President Marketing at an established international financial group. 

Peer Sauer holds a professional qualification in banking and additional qualifications in marketing, event management and data protection.
